Upper Blepharoplasty

One of the downsides of aging is the premature sagging of the upper eyelid. This can, however, be fixed by redesigning the upper eyelid and making the eye appear younger. In some cases, the upper eyelid skin excess and leaves the eye look sleepy or tired.

The surgeon will cut a portion of the eyelid skin and remove it, making the eyes more alive and open. The incision will be at the crease of the upper eyelid as well as stitches will be there. The scar will not be obvious because it will look like only the crease of the eyes making it look natural. In other cases, the upper eyelid has puffy look because of the excess fats. The surgeon may remove a portion or just reposition the fat to a part of the upper eyelid that could be hollowed- this technique is called " Fat conserving upper eyelid surgery".
